2019 Award Ceremony
This award acknowledges the critical role of child care teachers in providing quality early care and education. The TLLCCF has proudly presented this prestigious award since 1994. The 2019 Terri Lynne Lokoff/Children's TYLENOL®, Children's ZYRTEC® National Child Care Teacher Awards was held on Saturday May 11th at the Philadelphia Marriott located at 1201 Market Street Philadelphia, PA. Thank you to those who joined us in the Liberty Ballroom and helped to celebrate the wonderful early child care educators that make such a difference in the future of our children. TLLCCF is the advocate in the country for supporting and elevating the status of early child care professionals. The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation
We honor and reward early education teachers dedicated to excellence, support nonprofit and nonsectarian child care centers, provide art and cultural programs to child care centers serving low income areas, and advocate for early care and education every day.
TLLCCF’s oldest continuous program. For 30 years the Foundation has awarded nearly $2 Million dollars to child care centers, allowing them to implement specific changes needed to improve the quality of care provided to children.
This award acknowledges the critical role of child care teachers in providing quality early care and education.
The Lois B. Cohan Museums to Go program is funded by an endowment begun by Lois’ husband Bob Cohan and their children. The Museums to Go program provides $400 to child care centers serving at-risk children and low-income families to bring cultural, art, music, theater and educational programs from outstanding local museums and institutions to childcare center classrooms.
