The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation Inducts New Board Members
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, May 9, 2007 – The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation (TLLCCF) held its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Bloomingdale’s, King of Prussia, Upper Level Atrium. The Foundation inducted new officers and board members.
The TLLCCF inducted four new officers for the period of 2007-2009. Outgoing President Bonnie Squires turned her gavel over to Barbara McCabe of North Wales who will assume the position of President of the Board of Directors. Mrs. McCabe was the director of Business Support Services at Merck & Co., Inc. in West Point, PA; she retired in 2003 after 34 years.
The Vice Presidents are Shelly Greenbaum, legal secretary at Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman & Smalley, P.C. in Philadelphia, PA, Gary Steinberg, sales associate at Prudential, Fox and Roach in Gladwyne, PA, and Steven Rossman, partner at Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. in Philadelphia, PA. Incoming board members are Lisa Bien, vice president of consumer media at Garfield Group Public Relations in Newtown, PA, Erin Connolly, director of Consortium/coordinator of Community Engagement Group at Montgomery County Child Care Consortium in Narberth, PA, and Chris Smith, vice president/relationship manager at Wachovia Bank in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Observing its 20th year of making America better by improving early care and education, the Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation has dedicated its resources to improving the quality of child care for all children; supporting and elevating the status of child care teachers and providers; raising awareness of the need for affordable, quality child care; and, partnering with business and government in making child care a priority. TLLCCF is a nonprofit, nonsectarian 501(c)(3) organization established in 1987 in memory of Terri Lynne Lokoff, a devoted child care worker.
