The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation
Presented Award to Calvary Baptist Child Care Center, Norristown

King of Prussia, PA, July 23, 2008 – Today, at an awards ceremony, the Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation presented the Calvary Baptist Child Care Center in Norristown with the Child Care Center Advocate Award in Memory of Anne O. Krancer.  The Calvary Baptist Child Care Center was selected to receive the award for providing high-quality child care and educational services in an environment that nurtures children and stimulates growth and creativity. As a part of the award the center chose two new cribs for its infant classroom. 

The infant cribs and plaque commemorating the award were presented to Calvary Baptist Child Care Center Director Holly Kerins.  Presenting the award at the center in the infant room were Ron Krancer of Villanova, the award is named for his first wife Anne,  Foundation founders Kay and Fred Lokoff, Pennsylvania State Senator Connie Williams, Foundation board member Erin Connolly and Executive Director Allan Miller.

The award was established in 2004 to honor the memory of Anne O. Krancer a long-time supporter, and is presented with the Foundation’s Child Care Advocate Award in memory of Anne O. Krancer, also in her honor, which is given to an individual at the Foundation’s annual Rose Gala.

The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation has dedicated its resources to improving the quality of child care for all children; supporting and elevating the status of child care teachers and providers; raising awareness of the need for affordable, quality child care; and, partnering with business and government in making child care a priority.  TLLCCF is a nonprofit, nonsectarian 501(c)(3) organization established in 1987 in memory of Terri Lynne Lokoff, a devoted child care teacher.
