The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation
Annual Golf, Bridge & Games Classic was a Success

King of Prussia, PA, June 26, 2008 - The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation (TLLCCF) successfully raised more than $121,000 at its 20th Annual Golf, Bridge & Games Classic on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Green Valley Country Club, Lafayette Hill, PA.

Eighty nine golfers turned out to enjoy a round of golf in perfect weather for the outing and Merrill Reese, Voice of the Philadelphia Eagles and the event’s Honorary Chair, and Golf Chairs Jamie Lokoff and Jimmy Grossman were happy with the day’s turnout.  Celebrity golfers included Merrill Reese, Bob McElwee, Joe Pellegrino, Mike Quick, Jeff Asch, Gerald Henderson, Paul Jolovitz, and Joe Kerrigan.

The low gross score of 142 went to the team of Bob Linden, Jerry Miller, Jeff Tolerico and Larry Troilo. The low net score of 111 went to the team of Jamie Lokoff, Tom Hartman, Tom Joyner and Joe Kerrigan. The second low net score of 114 went to the team of Tim Berman, Merrill Reese, Bob Roma and Alan Toadvine. Contest winners for the day for the longest drive for men: Gerald Henderson, longest drive for women: Cindy Reese, closest to the pin on the 8th hole: Joe Kerrigan, closest to the pin on the 10th hole: Jerry Gropman, closest to the pin on the 15th hole: Gerald Rosato and the par 3 contest winner was Barbara McCabe.

One hundred and sixty bridge and games players turned out to enjoy spirited games of duplicate or social bridge and Mah jong.  Bridge co-chairs Joan Bernstein, Anita Cohen and Shelley Greenbaum deemed the day a complete success. The Golf, Bridge and Games Classic was made a success with its team of 35 volunteers who are dedicated to the Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation and its mission.

The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation has dedicated its resources to improving the quality of child care for all children; supporting and elevating the status of child care teachers and providers; raising awareness of the need for affordable, quality child care; and, partnering with business and government in making child care a priority.  TLLCCF is a nonprofit, nonsectarian 501(c)(3) organization established in 1987 in memory of Terri Lynne Lokoff, a devoted child care worker.
