The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation
Presented Scholarship Grant to Parent Infant Center

The Grant was made possible through the Department of Community and Economic Development

King of Prussia, PA, November 12, 2007 – The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation (TLLCCF) received a $5,000 grant from Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development. State Representative James Roebuck was instrumental in obtaining the grant for the Foundation. Representative Roebuck is the chairman for the Pennsylvania House Education Committee.

The TLLCCF presented the grant to the Parent Infant Center in West Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. The Grant will be used to fund scholarships for teachers and staff at the center.

Observing its 20th year of making America better by improving early care and education, the Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation has dedicated its resources to improving the quality of child care for all children;supporting and elevating the status of child care teachers and providers; raising awareness of the need for affordable, quality child care; and, partnering with business and government in making child care a priority.  TLLCCF is a nonprofit, nonsectarian 501(c)(3) organization established in 1987 in memory of Terri Lynne Lokoff, a devoted child care worker.
