A Celebration of 22Years of Children and the People Who Care For Them Every Day
The first annual Adult Play Date was a success as it showcased the good works the Foundation accomplishes on behalf of children and child care teachers. Proceeds from the event help to implement specific changes to improve the quality of early care and education. More than 225 supporters came out to enjoy the new style fall-fundraiser that featured a casual, relaxed atmosphere with catering by 12th Street Caterers, music by D.J. Howard and soul/R&B line dancing by Kenny J. The Foundation presented its prestigious Corporate Leadership Award to AstraZeneca. Andrea Moselle, senior manager for Work/Life accepted the award on behalf of the company. The TLLCCF Child Care Advocate Award in memory of Anne O. Krancer was presented to Harriet Dichter, deputy secretary, office of Child Development and Early Learning in Pennsylvania; and the Foundation's National Working Parent Award was presented to Dr. Madeleine Weiser, pediatrician.
